Sky Juice Promotions continues to promote grass roots reggae music by presenting one of Jamaica’s Top Roots Reggae Artist Don Carlos & The Dub Vision band, with support from some of Denmark’s finest Reggae acts like Jah Turban, JahRee, Ilawy, Kaya man & Aron, Backed by U Squad, plus Sky Juice Sound on Sunday the 31st of August 2008, at The Rock Skindergade 45, Doors open 20:00.

Don Carlos the legendary reggae singer and composer.

Don Carlos (Euvin Spencer) is a Jamaican Roots Reggae Singer and Composer; he was born in Western Kingston Jamaica.
Don Carlos He grew up in the Waterhouse district, an area renowned as the home of King Tubby. Don Carlos began his singing career in 1973, as the lead singer of Black Uhuru,one of King Tubby’s many projects. The group was a singing trio that included Don Carlos, Garth Dennis and Derrick Simpson. Don Carlos later went solo, and in 1981 he released Suffering for Negus Roots, a cultural/roots album. He went on to release 12 more solo albums in partnership with Gold, his backup vocalist and co writer, plus many more albums thereafter.
